Saturday was a close call! We done all the filming we needed to do just before it started pouring down with rain.
We arrived at Jakub's friends, Joe's house to shoot the party scene.
After we arrived, Joe took us down to the basement to set up the camera equipment.
I was put in charge of taking photo's during the course of that day; so i did exactly that. The moment i got the camera, i started taking photos of devon and jakub getting ready for the music video.
Camera Set.
Singer Ready.
Off We Went.
We continuously shot the party scene until we got it perfect.
After that, we went outside and filmed 'dirty devon' singing on the street at the bus top.
We went back to the house and waited for it to get a little dark outside so it would be right for the particular scene we wanted to film. The scene is when 'dirty devon' approaches the party house and knocks on the door.
Filming and taking photo's of that part was very funny indeed.
We needed an extra person to act out opening the door to 'dirty devon' and joe was up for it. Filming it was a mission but we did it.
We wanted the point of view to be from joe and so we had to put the camera in front of him in order to show what he saw.
The position Jakub, the camera man, had to get into was hilarious!
We also shot a part where 'dirty devon' is in the living room, singing. A little furry friend called Bonnie decided to jump into the shot when we were filming which was quite funny.
We then moved down to the garden where we did another base track. It was dark and 'dirty devon' was cold but it had to be done.
Finally we shot one of the last base track which was on the roof. The roof was as flat as it can be and it was perfectly safe for us to film. We just made sure that we didn't go anywhere near the edge.
The night arrived, as we continued to film on the roof. But then, Rain! It poured down with rain like never before; luckily we were content with the amount we did on the roof.
It was so funny watching devon and jakub getting through the high window to get on to the roof and coming back after filming. Some great pictures were captured!
The Journey home was wet and soggy; not pleasant at all.
