The editing in this video clever. When the tracks drum line comes in the editing is very quick yet slick. It uses the snares in the drum line to match the in and out motion of the editing. this is contrasted to the slower parts of the song where the editing is much slower as well. This was all done to contrast the chorus from verse clearly.
The setting for the video is appropriate. The fact its shot at night emphasises the night time theme of the song. The skate park was an excellent choice of setting as well because it adds to the youthful, urban vibe of the song.
In front of the first wall of graffiti, there is a total of 4 base tracks from different angles against that wall, a base track of the dancer, 2 in the tunnel, 3 in front the second graffiti wall. In total that makes around about 10 base tracks. This allows the group to add a variety of different shots from different angles when it comes to editing.
