To start with we got all the shots that were required. We have a variety of shots which include, panning, tracking shots, close ups, and low angle shots, free hand movement and also a medium shot to name a few. We also have 4 base tracks in 3 different locations. A base track is one shot which you play and lip sync the whole way through in one location. You should film multiple base tracks to add variety when creating a music video and also add structure to it.
We use markers by counting every 8 beats on the track then placing the marker down. this allows us to cut our shots every 8 beats. To add variety we also added random cuts in between these markers. we also added certain markers at certain parts of the song to match.
The locations we chose were in college because we only had more or less and hour and a half. If we had more time, we would have chosen a variety of locations in and out of the college to make it more interesting and effective. the advantage of being in college was that it was close and it was easy to get to each location seen in the music video. Also whilst lip syncing the music we used the media departments portable speakers, due to the fact most students in the college were in lesson, it meant the corridors were quiet so it was easy to hear the music clearly and edit the lip syncing better when it came to it, also we had to keep the speaker quite near to Jakub as the volume wasn't as loud and we had to make sure this didn't effect the shots we were taking.
Jakub, the main singer didn't know the lyrics before so we had to print it out so that he could learn it on set. if we did this project again it would be better for Jakub to learn the lyrics before shooting to speed up the process.

The tilted angle in this shot made it more interesting and had given us positive feedback from our teacher and the other audience members.
This panning shot added a variety to the final piece and also the black and white effect on the shots helped add emotion to the shot.
